AVVRON was set up to provide product-based solutions that help society adapt to and mitigate Climate Change.

Our main focus has been on weather monitoring as a Climate Change adaptation tool especially for vulnerable communities. Our weather monitoring systems not only provide accurate measurements but also generate valuable local forecasts. The entire system can be remotely monitored on-line that is actively used by our customers supporting such vulnerable communities. 

Our precision irrigation system calculates and delivers the optimum amount of irrigation water based on measurement of weather and soil parameters using our automatic weather station and automatic evapotranspiration measuring system. Our system automatically performs irrigation water management from storage tanks and ponds using our electronic water depth measurement system.

Our primary focus on Climate Change mitigation is on Energy. We strive to achieve space cooling (both indoors and outdoors) by microclimate management using passive technologies like the Earth Air Heat Exchanger (EAHE) that require only a quarter of the energy used by a conventional air-conditioning system. We have designed and installed such systems optimised for offices and residences.

We built our solutions by closely listening to our potential customers (and supported by extensive site visits) understanding their expectations. We know how to analyze this information and customize our offering to ensure truly effective solutions.

Our capability in solution development is also enhanced by our active research in  local weather forecasting and microclimate management. Mathematical modelling, simulation and experimentation are part of this activity.
